Candidate profile

  • To perform well in this position you will have a HBO- or HEAO diploma in Human Resources or equivalent;
  • Proven track record of a minimum of at least 3-5 years work experience in a Human Resource position or a similar field;
  • Excellent knowledge of Human Resource processes and relevant experience with related software systems and applications;
  • Demonstrable affinity with Dutch labor law, payroll and accuracy in numbers Strong communication skills, and excellent organizational and project management skills;
  • A Dutch speaking native and also proficient in speaking and writing in English;
  • Pro-active, service-minded and creative problem-solving hands on attitude;
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Excel.
Introduction

This position is newly created and the Human Resource Specialist is part of MSCN’s Administrative department specifically the HR & GA Department. This department is responsible for Human Resources, General Affairs, and IT related corporate services for the employees.

The department offers a wide range of human resources-related activities, and has entered into the stabilization phase. This implies HR strategy planning and drawing up rules and quality procedures. In your position, you support and manage the daily HR & GA tasks, finalize HR-related documents, write guidelines and procedures, Systemize HR-related business and provide high-quality corporate services to the employees.

In addition, you will be involved in HR-related fields of the Corporate Sustainability Team Reporting Directive and EU Taxonomy.

You will report directly to the Manager Human Resources and will advise and support also the General Affairs Coordinator.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Assisting, supporting and reporting to the Manager Human Resources;
  • Assist and support the HR & GA Coordinator;
  • Assisting and support the Sustainability Specialist with input for CSRD and EU Taxonomy in HR-related fields;
  • Writing MSCN internal- and ISO-procedures;
  • Taking care of the operational day-to-day HR processes and procedures;
  • You will set up and are responsible for MSCN’s Training & Development/the Talent strategy, relating to current and future talent needs and succession planning;
  • Implementing onboarding programs and creating learning and development programs to provide employees with internal development opportunities;
  • Participate in the HR performance management system that drives the right performance culture, assisting employees tasked with performance appraisals of subordinates, and managing resulting compensation decisions such as raises or bonuses;
  • Manage and process accurate monthly payrolls providing necessary payroll support and liaise with outsourced payroll and pension provider;
  • Managing other HR & GA-related IT systems and applications, and establishing necessary connections with each system to be efficient.
